Passionate, Ambitious, and Talented Artist, Print and Web Designer

I held a paintbrush as early as 2 (I have a brave Dad), won a coloring contest at 5 and have been hooked on art ever since. The fine art background has given me an appreciation for color and mood, detail, pure and free creativity. This is something I can bring to a print and web design project while concepting campaigns and ideas.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL where I really found my creative self. I graduated with honors and a double major in Painting and Computer Graphic Design. While at Lewis I also played golf, for which I was on scholarship. Being a student athlete teaches you many things: to juggle multiple tasks/goals at a time, to put 100% into everything you're doing at the moment because you have to, ... but golf especially teaches you to be self-motivated and a strong individual, while always knowing you have a commitment to the team and that you still have to work together to make big things happen.

My career as a Designer has led me into many industries working with marketing teams, creative teams and the corporate powers that be. Incredibly, I don't feel beaten down by the corporate world, I still have a lot of fire and ambitions for myself and my work.

Over the years I've become extremely proficient in using all the usual suspects in design software: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and more recently Adobe Dreamweaver and Flash, HTML/CSS with ever growing thirst for knowledge and education.
