Thanks for taking a look at the latest and greatest!
It was a very busy and exciting Q4 for me. I am so grateful for the projects I've had.
It's hard to post every little thing I do, but below are the bigger projects and ones I feel best represent me, my style and talent.
If you have any questions or want to chat about any of the projects I've posted, please feel free to contact me anytime.
I'm always up for a good rant or critique.
CaoCao Paris - Product name, Packaging Design
One of my most challenging but rewarding projects of the year. Breaking language and cultural barriers w/ patience and persistance, I designed the package for CaoCao Paris - cocoa filled croissant, a new European grocery item.
Although many concepts were done for this project, the final product is attractive to all age groups, it's modern for a classic pastry, it pops off the shelf with a hot purple logo treatment and creamy delicious croissant staring at you.
Once the product hits the shelves, you better believe I'm getting some! Check back in a couple months for some product shots!
Yellowstone Logistics - Logo revision, Marketing Collateral and Website Design

Yellowstone Logistics brought me back to my logistics marketing days... quite a wonderful project.
It was a total refresh of the logo, the marketing sell sheets and the website.
Using their colors and with creative license, I was able to create for them very unique and attractive sell sheets. This isn't somethin you'll find on your average stock layout site... someone will look at these and know they stand for quality and dedication... nothing less than what they expected of me going in to this project for their whole line of marketing material.
The new website design is meant to be a cleansing from their previous site. A clean and direct site, easy to navigate and inform. A task accomplished.
A most recently finished project, their team is uploading the site soon... keep looking for the change at www.yellowstonelogistics.com
TSG Xpress - Logo, Corporate Identity, Marketing Collateral and Website Design

A division of TSG - Transportation Solutions Group
Able to start with a blank canvas, I designed something sleek and modern, yet tough for this new Express Logistics division of a large and reputable asset-based logistics company.
I started with a logo design, slightly based of their existing TSG logo. Once the concept was chosen I designed their website from concept to coding based on some conversations with the client and their basic needs. It's very straightforward and easy to navigate while looking good.
As TSG Xpress is getting their feet off the ground, I've also had the opportunity to design their marketing collateral, sales presentations and miscellaneous corporate collaeral (business cards, letterheads, etc.). Once those materials are ready for the public eyes I will have some samples for your review!

Total Home Magazine - Logo, Corporate/Branding Identity, Marketing Collateral and Website

Total Home Magazine is a direct mail coupon catalog. This one is different though, I designed it from start to finish. The logo, the marketing material and the website (which is still in concept stages).
The logo is clean, edgy buty warm... inviting you to open the pages and find your dream kitchen remodelers or sauna installation. Black was chosen and a non distracting color and to really let the images and misc. information pop off the pages, both print and web.
Coming from a print background, this new venture is a great way for me to stay up to par with my advertising wit and layout efficiency and continue to illustrate my strengths as a print designer.

Chicago Marine Asset Management (CMAM) - Website Design

I love that I am able to help start up businesses, small guys, like myself, who just need a web presence, something that looks good and won't cost them an arm and leg.
For CMAM, I was able to get design concepts to them, revisions made, coding, Flash gallery and a live site up in less than 5 days. The site looks great and again is just straightforward and easy to navigate.

Berger Development LTD. - Chicago - Website Redesign

Originally the Berger's approached me with simple requests for modifications to their previous site, new colors, a new page and a gallery. Over conversations we agreed that a complete overhaul would be beneficial so they could have the site they wanted and I could really improve the overall impression of their online presence.
The previous site was dark and (excuse me for lack of a better word) poop colored. This is NOT the image a clean, professional developer wants to convey to his audience! I brightened it up by removing the colored background and increased their number of images for their work, highlighted the newer projects in the flash on the home page and kept the simplified copy.
Their logo was small and muddled into the deep background color, I (without changing the creative of the logo) enlarged the business name so that you knew exactly who they were when you got to the site and if you're in fact even at the right place.
The addition of a flash gallery was imperative with all the beautiful work they do. The gallery has room to grow and we anticipate it will!

Sweet Sensations Pastry - Chicago - Logo, Brand Identity & Website Design

Working towards a clean and minimal design with a clear message: Tantilizing pastries by Chef Sharin Nathan now available for your indulgence whenever you please.
Logo: The 'S' in Sweet Senstations was inspired by a meringue topping. The cupcake bottom represents the pastry, one of her signature items, and a simple oval to hold it all together.
Site: The deep colors chosen by the Nathan's help the bright, mouth watering pictures to pop as does the flash slideshow element on the home page. It's easy to navigate and leaves you knowing what you want and exactly where to find it. In the future, the site will likely have an image gallery and ecommerce page to order pastries of all sorts.
It's also possible there will be a storefront in the near future! This site was built with room for growth. I look forward to working with them on this project.
Update: Since the site has been live Sweet Sensations Pastry has nearly doubled in number of orders each month with ease of online ordering and menu availability.

River Pearl Press - Publishing American History, Fiction & Non-Fiction - Logo & Business Identity
In the final stages of revisions for the logo and business cards.
To keep the cost down and the design different, it's a two sided card for both partners to use. I used location to help them differentiate who's side is which.
More to come!
